Answer:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
In principle, it is permissible for children to act out the sirah or stories of the prophets (عليهم السلام). In fact, doing so is praiseworthy and should be encouraged.
That said, there are certain guidelines that must be adhered to when doing so, such as:
1. The Prophet ﷺ and the Ambiyah (عليهم السلام) should not being enacted nor depicted.[1]
2. The sahabah (رضي الله عنهم), the followers of the previous prophets, and the angels must be enacted with the utmost respect and dignity.
If the above guidelines are adhered to, then there is no problem in children enacting the sirah of the Prophet ﷺ or the stories of the Ambiyah (عليهم السلام).
And Allah ﷻ knows best.
فإن كان صوابا فمن الله وإن كان خطأ فمني ومن الشيطان والله ورسوله بريئان منه
