Darul Fatwaa provides religious and marital counselling from an Islamic perspective for educational, spiritual, and faith-based guidance purposes only. All counselling services are grounded in the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah as understood within the Hanafi school of Islamic jurisprudence.
The counselling offered by Darul Fatwaa is limited to religious guidance, spiritual support, marital advice, conflict resolution, and related Islamic matters. Such services are intended to assist individuals and families in understanding and applying Islamic principles to their personal circumstances.
Darul Fatwaa is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, psychotherapy, or healthcare provider. Neither Darul Fatwaa nor its counsellors provide psychotherapy, psychological treatment, mental health therapy, psychiatric services, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any physical or mental health condition.
Darul Fatwaa does not hold itself out as providing regulated psychotherapy services and does not claim or represent that its counsellors are licensed psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, or members of any regulated healthcare profession unless expressly stated otherwise.
Any religious or marital counselling provided by Darul Fatwaa should not be construed as psychotherapy or any other regulated health service.
The counselling services provided by Darul Fatwaa are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other regulated professional services. Individuals experiencing mental health concerns, emotional distress, trauma, addiction, suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, abuse, or any condition requiring professional intervention should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified and licensed professional or emergency service.
Participation in counselling services offered by Darul Fatwaa is voluntary. While every effort is made to provide sincere, thoughtful, and beneficial guidance, Darul Fatwaa makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding any particular outcome arising from the counselling process or from reliance upon any advice provided.
By engaging with Darul Fatwaa’s counselling services, users acknowledge and agree that all guidance is provided solely from a religious and faith-based perspective. Users remain solely responsible for their personal decisions, actions, and outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Darul Fatwaa, its representatives, counsellors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other loss, damage, injury, claim, or liability arising from or related to the use of its counselling services or reliance upon any guidance provided.
Where a matter falls beyond the scope of religious or marital counselling, Darul Fatwaa reserves the right to decline counselling services and/or recommend that an individual seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional, regulated healthcare provider, legal practitioner, or relevant authority.
Consent to recording to maintain accurate records, ensure quality assurance, facilitate supervision where applicable, protect the interests of all parties, and assist in the resolution of disputes or complaints, counselling sessions conducted by Darul Fatwaa may be audio and/or video recorded.
By scheduling, attending, or participating in any counselling session, the Client expressly acknowledges and consents to the recording, collection, storage, and use of such recordings in accordance with this Policy and Darul Fatwaa’s Privacy Policy.
Where a Client does not consent to the recording of counselling sessions, Darul Fatwaa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or discontinue counselling services.
Darul Fatwaa’s counselling and advisory services are offered only to individuals who are physically located in Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom at the time services are provided. Darul Fatwaa reserves the right to verify a client’s location and may refuse, decline, suspend, discontinue, or restrict services where a client’s location cannot be reasonably verified or where the provision of services may give rise to legal, regulatory, compliance, safety, or operational concerns.
